Since 1992
Autotrend EFI has been an
authorized Accel/DFI EMIC since 1992. The EMIC program, Engine
Management Installation Center, is a network of dealers across the
country that sells and service the Accel/DFI line. EMIC’s are
generally shops who have knowledge in aftermarket performance EFI
systems.
Autotrend EFI has a unique
relationship with DFI. In addition to being one of their top selling
EMICs we have a very close relationship with the technical and R&D
department. We routinely test beta products before release to other
EMICs and the general public. This gives us an edge on the market as
well as an avenue for providing valuable input to DFI.
Another aspect that sets us apart
is since 1992 Autotrend EFI has been producing wire harness products
for the Accel/DFI systems. We have been building harnesses for the
Accel/DFI 6.0 system, GEN 7, ICM and now the new GEN 8 system. Not
only do we build custom wire harnesses for our internal use, but
have been supplying custom harnesses and harness kits to many EMICs
and car builders around the country.
